The reason is simple: I like art and computers, and digital design is the perfect combination of both. As a kid, I enjoyed drawing and making crafts from things I could find around the house. I grown up wanted to become an artist, but my parents worried that an art career would not make me a stable income, so I went to college to become a banker. However, after I moved to the U.S., while going to school for a business degree and working part-time as a nail tech, I realized that I wanted a job that I can enjoy for the rest of my life, so I wouldn’t have to really work a day in my life. That’s why I’m here today, pursuing a Digital Design degree. My passion is being able to combine traditional art into my digital design because I like its esthetic and I think designs should be both functional and beautiful.
